Grover PM-3 Chime Mallet is the first chime mallet specifically designed for percussionists! The unbreakable head features a hard and soft side. The Soft side is marked by the blue band. Extra weight produces a true fundamental sonority. A custom made hardwood handle gives exceptional feel and balance. Far superior to the rawhide chime mallet.

Model PM-3: (Medium) 1.5" head, 130 grams.

AMAZING

This mallet has the best of both worlds. My favorite is the hard side. It gives a nice long tone that flows with music.The soft side is good but it doesn't give the greatest feel unlike the hard side. Overall I would give this mallet an awesome 5.
