The proprietary ITaP technology was developed by the acclaimed Libor Hadrava. This tech allows the performer to adjust the distance of the snare wires from the drum head. This means the snare pressure (sound quality) can be adjusted independently of the snare tension (sensitivity). The ITaP system gives complete control to the performer to find the optimal sound and snare sensitivity for every performance. Grover Pro had the snare response theory (see graphic in photos) when designing this drum series. Through in-lab testing and performance analysis, they have manufactured this drum and it's snare system with optimal combination of materials to make a completely responsive drum.
