Comments:

Is it the most glamorous way to spend $60? Probably not. Could you make something yourself for less? Yes. But will you be glad you have this when you need a foot rest for bass drum, tambourine, or castanets? Absolutely. The adjustability is nice and it feels wonderfully solid and stable underfoot. One star knocked off for 1) using the tripod style that has the wing nut at the bottom making it a lot more finicky and hard to open, and 2) being quite heavy for its small size; I would not be able to take this to an audition that I had to fly to. Good product for performing, just a little overbuilt and impractical for auditions.

Grover Footrest

Comments:

Finally, after spending so many years of my career not being happy with the footrest that comes attached to bass drum stands and looking for something to prop my foot up on for tambourine/castanet knee stuff someone has come out with a solution and I think this one is fantastic! The range of height adjustment sure seems ample enough to me but what really impresses is how secure and robust it feels which is saying something given that I'm 6'6" tall and carry a lot of weight. Great item!
