I bought this as my first tambourine for college, and it's been serving me well! Sonically, it projects well and sounds very nice. It is advertised as a tambourine that is better for playing with smaller hands, but makes it harder for people to grip it with medium - to large-sized hands. You get used to it, but getting used to it is a little bit annoying. Another thing to note is that it doesn't have a hole to attach to a cymbal stand, so keep that in mind when buying. Nonetheless, I've been using it for large wind ensembles and orchestras and thoroughly enjoying it.

I love this tambourine. It is at a reasonable price and sounds great! The build quality is high, and it acts as a good starting tambourine that can double in the professional world. My only gripe is the handle... It works well for people with smaller hands, but it can act troublesome towards people with slightly larger hands. But you can work around it. All in all, it's a great product.
