A key feature of this drum is the Grover ITaP Snare system. The Independent Snare Pressure Adjustment or ITaP allows the performer to adjust the distance of the snare wires from the drum head. This means the snare pressure (sound quality) can be adjusted independently of the snare tension (sensitivity). The ITaP system gives complete control to the performer to find the optimal sound and snare sensitivity for every performance.
