Headhunters Billy Gladstone Brushes - Product Information
The design of the Headhunters Billy Gladstone Brushes is based off the original 1946 Billy Gladstone patent blueprint with 2 distinct fan sizes available at opposite ends. Headhunters has utilized a portion of his design and added a unique twist, they have used 2 different diameter wires, one group at one end and a heavier set at the opposite end. With this twist, the drummer can use different combinations of weighted wire according to the musical situation. At one end, indicated by the white cap, we use a 0.012 'vintage wire', at the other end, a black cap identifies the heaviest 0.019 diameter wire. These two choices of wire are currently the lightest weight and the heaviest weight wire in circulation and in use in today's drumming.
