Houllif-10 Jazz Drum Set Solos-DS

The goal of this book is to acquaint grade 3-4 players with various beats, solo suggestions and techniques which will enable them to excel in the jazz ensemble in a solo and chart-reading capacity. Styles include rock (half-time, classic, funk), jazz (4/4 swing, shuffle and jazz waltz in 3/4 time), Latin (bossa nova, mambo), as well as an exotic solo in 5/4 time played with timpani mallets.
