I'm still upset at Humes and Berg for not fulfilling TWO custom order concert bass drum bags after over a year of waiting. But I needed a third one that Steve Weiss had in stock and I ordered it. Compared to other bags I've seen there isn't much padding. I was expecting a little more protection. They probably used to be better quality years ago.

I have owned Humes & Berg Tuxedo Bags since they first started manufacturing them nearly 20 years ago. Great protection for the drums, and the soft bag construction is far more flexible than hard cases. Obviously, when flying, hard cases are a must, but for local travel and transport, you can't beat 'em! While some users were concerned about the zipper closures, I've never had any issues, and more recently I noticed a heavier zipper being used. From snare drums, to toms to drum set bass drums and now a small concert bass drum I've never been disappointed!

These are no doubt the most padded and best quality drum bags I have found. Zippers, handles, construction.. they will last a lifetime and keep your drums safe. Steve Weiss Music carries all the sizes..the best place to buy them. They have loads of other pro gear as well.
