Whether in a live concert or the recording studio making art with sound is all about choosing the right tools to shape your music. All of the models in the Dan Moore line highlight his full-bodied, resonant, and “fruity” sound. These mallets work well on both marimba and vibes. You can mix and match to help create your own sculpture in sound. All models have rattan handles.
The DM18 deep marimba mallets bring out the rich low tones of the marimba without excessive saturation. This model offers a nice little punch in the low register along with a deep, clear tone.
