Innovative Dan Moore DM26 Medium Hard Marimba/Vibe Mallet

This series of marimba and vibraphone mallets was developed for musician, composer and educator Dr. Dan Moore. Dan feels that creating music is the art of sculpting sound. Whether in a live concert or the recording studio making art with sound is all about choosing the right tools to shape your music. All of the models in the Dan Moore line highlight his full-bodied, resonant, and “fruity” sound. These mallets work well on both marimba and vibes. You can mix and match to help create your own sculpture in sound. All models have rattan handles.

The DM26 medium hard marimba/vibraphone mallet has a little more presence but still offers the same full-bodied marimba sound that is hallmark of the DM series. It offers slightly more projetion for solor and duo marimba. solo vibraphone and chamber music. The DM26 has a great sound on the full range of a 5.0 octave marimba and 3.5 octave vibraphone.
