Rebound and articulation is right. These sticks really get up off the drum in a way that forces one to learn what their back fingers are for. Sound is precise, not fat, but I find that an instructional positive as it encourages better buzz/press technique. You'll learn to play open and clean with these.

I ordered several items from Steve Weiss for my daughter who is in marching band. I know nothing about the products other than these are what the band director wanted the kids to have. The shipping was very quick and everything arrived together.

One of my favorite marching sticks, but the pair I was given was terrible. Sticks were completely unmatched. Very light and very low pitched. The weight felt awkward to hold and play with. The rebound and vibration of the stick upon contact is very inconsistent and sporadic. Maybe this is IP issue, but low quality sticks need to be discarded! There needs to be more quality control on sticks being made and given to customers.

In my opinion these are awful. The sound is ok but the way they feel is dead and unnatural. Get the Rennick's instead
