The gold standard of brass mallets

Comments:

Brass bell mallets are intended to be extremely loud and bright. That's their whole purpose in life. They're good for contexts in which that's what you want, like for certain solos, or with a large orchestra playing a bright piece. For general play with a band, you want something more like Innovative's OS4 forte mallets, but these ISP908s are some amazing mallets, so long as you're using them for their intended purpose.

I ordered these mallets thinking they were going to be average size mallets, but they are enormous, and extremely heavy. They make an extremely bright and really loud sound, way to much for bells. I honestly do not know why anyone would want to use these.
