The Innovative Jauvon Gilliam The Bar Exam Articulate Timpani Mallets are the hardest of the series delivering very fast attack with tight projection. Perfect fast parts requiring lots of note definition.
Jauvon Gilliam has coined the term Pop Kush to describe this line of mallets. The Pop is referring the clean and crisp attack of the mallet while the Kush means the warmth generated from the drum. This is achieved by the combination of wood and felt layered cores. The combination of these cores and the black German felt allow these mallets to offer the agility of European style Mallets and the presence of American style mallets.
