Let the brush do the work

Comments:

If you're used to light brushes these will take a bit to get used to. There is less or no pressing into the drum, and you need to just let the brush slide across the head. Jeff has a YouTube video that explains the benefits to the brushes if you search for it. Once I got used to it I find I get a better tone, better volume and articulation, and more bounce when moving around the kit.
