Innovative Percussion has expanded the very popular Jim Casella Series keyboard mallet series with this IP1003X model, which is a heavier version of our existing IP1003. This model is built with extra weight in the core and an oversized birch handle (11/32" diameter) to provide for a brighter articulation and extra projection.

Great Chop Builder

Comments:

I bought these so that I could build up my four-mallet chops (though they work just as well for 2-mallet). The shaft is wider than a normal shaft, but the weight of the mallet head makes up for it. A wonderful product, I would expect nothing less from Innovative Percussion.
