awesome!

Comments:

These mallets are great and have a nice bright twinkle sound. The only thing to worry about is if you allow middle schoolers to use them (me), they may try to play way too loudly and crack and fracture the plastic. It's mainly a cosmetic problem but still ruins the allure of the clear mallet.

Good in small orchestra/band settings

Comments:

These mallets are very good for selections where there is not much surrounding noise; but when a full band is playing, these mallets will simply not make the glockenspiel cut through the noise. These would also be great for solo playing; although the heads are not brass, the plastic is hard enough that the sound is both clear and not as harsh as the metal-on-metal sound of brass mallets. All in all, good mallets; my only real criticisms are that you cannot get very much volume with them, and that the shaft is very short compared to other glock mallets.
