Pretty good

Comments:

I love the Pius series Absolutely my favorite mallet on the market Only issue is that the rattan on these compared to the rattan i bought pre 2020 is very very different This rattan flexes A LOT, and feels very thin just be ready for that change Other then that, nice mallets

Beautiful sound on every note

Comments:

These are perhaps the best mallets I have had a change to play with. I would perhaps compare them to the Resta Jean Geoffroy mallets, but a bit heavier and more presence on the instrument. They would be a workout for anyone play with independent grip, but as I play cross grip they are absolutely perfect. Literally no effort is required to produce fortissimo dynamics, and because of the alpaca wool a pianissimo is absolutely possible. I've used them to play Velocities and Donatoni's Mari, and they work very well for both applications. They are great for any of Keiko Abe's music. The price point is great for such quality. The wool thins out a bit (I would recommend they need more nylon blended in to be more stable), but the sound is well worth it.

Nice Quality & Rich Tone

Comments:

These General mallets are by far some of the best ones that i have used, they provide a very dark and warm tone throughout all registers of the marimba and they also use German Alpaca wool instead of usual yarn which provides many different sounds to be created. But Overall, really nice mallets.
