Nice mallets, but not what I was looking for

Comments:

These are some very nice mallets, but I found them to be too soft and lacking in definition to be a general purpose vibes mallet. Honestly, I think that the "medium" designation is a little misleading. Should probably say "soft."

Rattan ridiculously too thin

Comments:

These are great vibe mallets with a nice sound and nice feel, but the rattan is ridiculously too thin. Bad job innovative percussion

Superb Mallets

Comments:

There mallets were recommended to me by the great vibraphonist Tim Collins. They are heavy and require a little time to get adjusted to how they feel. The RS251's have a lot of bounce and help project a bright sound from my vibes. I highly recommend them. (I play jazz and use 4 mallets).

great vibe mallets

Comments:

I really like playing vibes with these mallets. The heads are heavier than others and that take some getting used to. They are well constructed; flexible shafts, the yarn holds together well and they feel nice in the hand with a forward weight to them. They really bring out the fundamentals and sound wonderful across the dynamic range.

Awesome

Comments:

Love these mallets. They have that spongy punchy sound that isn't overpowering but articulates enough to create a distinct sound. I also like the way they sound on marimbas.
