Katny-Chain III (S-n2)-2M

Chain III by Polish composer Arkadiusz Katny is written for advanced marimba duo and is a sequel to Katny's first two pieces of this nature entitled Chain I & Chain II. It is written in segments of ad libitum, a battuta, and ad libitum sincronizzato which determine where the note values line up between parts and how the rhythmical structure of the piece is to be portrayed.
