The purpose of this method is to fill the need for a comprehensive musical approach to modern drumming. This method has been designed to give adequate time and material to each new idea presented, and to help develop a student's interest by introducing practical application for each idea presented. Moreover, this method was written to prepare the student for the literature and demands expected of the modern drummer, and to instill in the student a musical approach to percussion.
