This is just the bag I was looking for to carry several bass drum, gong and chime mallets, and some small traps as well. It's a convenient size and sturdily constructed--well worth the price. Steve Weiss are packing and shipping marvels. Everything arrived in pristine condition and on time.

This bag is a tremendous value and well-made! Be prepared to be surprised by its size... opened, it spreads out 36 inches wide. Very spacious -music folder, water, keys, phone, sticks, mallets, towels -it will all fit in this bag -other musicians might think you are coming to spend the night when you walk in!! But don't expect to carry this by the handles if you are short stature (5'-4"-ish) -it will drag on the ground. To alleviate this, I would recommend that the handles be redesigned to attach length-ways instead of on "top of bag." The shoulder straps work fine.

When they say "Carry-All-Caddy" that is exactly what it provides. This bag can hold so many mallets it's amazing. You can easily fit a full set of snare sticks, xylophone mallets, marimba mallets, and timpani mallets in it with complete protection. There is even room for music folders and a small pocket for triangle beaters or metronomes. This is the perfect bag for a working percussionist who needs to fit all their mallets in one bag. I highly recommend this bag for professionals or percussion majors.

Great bag for carrying chime hammers, tam-tam beaters and bass drum mallets. Can even throw in a triangle bag w/ clips & beaters as well as multiple music folders and a small slapstick and it still zips closed. I like the large size - it frees up my stick case for timpani mallets and such.

This bag is an amazing bass drum and gong mallet bag. There is just so much room with the extended collar. I have easily fit the whole line of Vic Firth Tom Gauger bass drum mallets with some extras and four gong mallets in this bag. The sheet music pocket is just the right size to carry along those repertoire parts like Rite of Spring with enough room left over to carry your music you are actually playing. Even with the bag filled, there is enough room to store a full size towel to place on a music stand to make a table for all these mallets. I recommend this bag for any serious percussionist.
