This is a great alternative to cradle stands costing up to three times more and does just as good a job. It has protective covering on the "arms" holding each cymbal, eliminating scratching and noise and is easy to set up. I wish I had found this stand before I spent $170 for the Pearl version!!! The double braced stand can easily support the largest cymbals. Thanks Steve Weiss Music for access to a needed accessory stand for crash cymbals at a very affordable cost within everyone's reach.
