As stated in other reviews you cannot get the drum perfectly flat (without modification that is). I also think the tubing is a little bit thin for a concert height stand. I have the extended height stand and love it, this one is acceptable for a child's practice pad but that's as far as I'd go with it. Great price as always from Weiss, just a little light for my taste.

Very decent stand for the price

Needed a lightweight stand for my other concert snare. Really wanted to go cheap since it isn't used all that much. This stand was very nice. The price was good, though adding another $10 for shipping hurt. The only complaint about the stand (and it's a big one) is that you cannot level the drum. No matter what you do, they mechanism locks so the snare basket is at an angle. It's fine when I play traditional, but if I'm doing multiple stuff and playing matched it won't do it. Other than that, a great solid lightweight stand.
