small downrod

Comments:

To SW's credit, the picture on the Website has been changed. These used to start as a 3/4" downrod and then, about 1-2 inches down the tube, the downrod bumped out to 7/8". The new model has no bump-out and remains as 3/4" for the entire downrod. Off the old picture on the site, I ordered 5 and received 2 of the original design and 3 of the new design (hence, the 2-star rating). Had to return the item as a 3/4" downrod is too small for the rack clamps these were going into (along with many other rack clamps on the market). If you are looking to use these on a rack, make sure your clamps will accept and hold rods smaller than 7/8".

Works great

Comments:

I just needed a simple arm to attach a splash to my current stand. For the price this seems to fit the need very well. 1st Liberty product I have ever had, but would consider their products in the future.

excellent!

Comments:

I have several of these connected to different clamps. None of them move while playing and the wingnuts do not come loose. I have pretty thin cymbals on them, so I'm not sure how they would work with heavier rock cymbals, but for any splash or other light cymbal I can confirm that it works very well. The felts on them are very thick, which is good for larger cymbals but for splashes you may want to use thinner felts to give the cymbal more freedom to move and resonate.
