Problem solving product.

Comments:

I am playing songs where I need to move quickly from the Vibra Slap (I have the Steve Weiss brand by the way) back to my conga. This mount puts the Vibra Slap in a convenient place. Striking the ball has a slightly different feel this way, but it is a minor adjustment. I recommend this product.

Yes it works very well

Comments:

You have to change your technique to play the vibraslap when it is mounted this. Mount it with the ball on top, press the ball down to create tension, then release the ball. There is a video of someone doing this online. Just search: how to mount a vibraslap. It works almost exactly as well as playing it the customary way. It may vibrate for slightly less time and not be quite as loud, but if you find that you need to mount the vibraslap, this is an excellent option.

Vibra-Slap Mount

Comments:

I would not recommend this to mount your Vibra-Slap instead, spend a little more money and buy a LP Claw. Simply unscrew the ball from the Vibra-Slap and thread the Vibra-Slap through the "Claw" locking nut, like you were mounting a rod. Slide it around the first bend about half way up. Make sure the ball is on top, or above the rattle of the instrument. Mount the Claw to your drum or cymbal stand. Adjust the "Claw" to you liking. This thing will rattle even better than if you held it !!
