Great medium-hard xylo mallet

Comments:

I was looking for a pair of xylophone mallets to play a couple of the George Hamilton Green rags, and these were the ones! The flexible, light shafts allow for quick movements up and down the keyboard. The sound is bright but not pinging, and various dynamic levels can be achieved. Definitely recommend

High Quality Mallets

Comments:

I like the tone these produce on the xylophone, and I prefer rattan, so this is a comfortable mallet for me. My professor recommended these to me. I've mostly used them in a concert band setting, and they have been working very well. Highly recommend!

Best all around mallet

Comments:

These are honestly the best xylo mallets I have ever used, they are good for everything xylo, and I believe every percussionist should have these

Great, but the handles are thin

Comments:

These are great mallets, and I knew I needed to get a pair the first time I played with them, however, the handles are pretty thin and can cause them to whip around if you don't know how to control the rattan. If you want something a bit heaver with the same great sound I would recommend the innovative James Ross mallets (And personally wish I nabbed those first) But these are amazing mallets and absolutely deserve their place, but my only issue is the handles. 9.5/10
