The Malletech Orchestral Series OR39R Mallets are best used for passages below forte. They feature a bright, light tone at lower dynamic levels and are easily maneuverable during fast passages.

Head: 1 1/8" Brown Ball

Great Xylo/Bell Mallets

Comments:

These mallets sound great on both xylophone and bells. On xylophone they sound almost as good as the Chitopher Lamb generals, but the two sound radically different on bells. An amazing mallet if you need to quickly go back and forth between the two especially.

Bad shafts

Still sound good but the handle of the stick is not what is used to be , it's really fat and bulky now with hardly any give.

Great Xylo mallets for auditions

I bought these for my DMA auditions. These sound great on any instrument. The nuances speak out brilliantly. Worth the purchase! Only down side is I can see this breaking easily if you are not careful. Please be careful with them! The handle will snap like a twig.

Great Xylo. Mallets!

These are some amazing xylo. mallets for orchestra use! They give a great, bright sound. If a solo is needed, these will give a great sound and at the same time a great sound will be projected to the listener.
