Malmark Pedal Cajon - Product Information
The Malmark Pedal Cajon is a snare Cajon that features a pedal which allows the player to engage and disengage the snares during performance. This opens up a great opportunities for players to develop rhythms that feature an interplay between the snares off and on. If the player desires the snares can be locked on or off. The pedal mechanism is crafted from aluminum and steel ensuring firm functionality, snare tension and comfort throughout the life of the instrument.
The instrument is crafted from 1/2" hand picked 11-layer Baltic Birch plywood with a 1/8" hand picked Baltic birch playing surface. The drum is hand sanded and coated with a polycrylic protective finish. The sound delivered is big with even tonal distribution.
