Manhasset Music Stand Light

I have been using this particular stand light for years and years. It is the best one for stand work as it illuminates the music, but does not have light splashing into the cameras. I have tried a couple other type lights and they either don't give good coverage and leave dark areas on the music or they let light "leak out" the back. The LED lights give an odd blue colored light. This one uses an aquarium bulb and is perfect.

I was disappointed in the light stand. The light does NOT illuminate the lower third of a normal piece of sheet music. I w/n buy this light again.

Great light - I've had the other stand lights and they start to flop over - this one is so much better... wish we could use a brighter bulb but 40 is the tops. Still music better than the others.

"For want of a nail . . . ." Sometimes ability and progress involve the silliest of small things. As the want of a lamp in a dim apartment stalled the learning and memorization of new material, the Manhasset Music Stand Light solved the problem perfectly. Pick up the guitar. Sit in the practice chair. Turn on the lamp. Turn a page. Learn. The light spread reads well out othe edges of pages and yet it's easy on the eyes -- just fine for the longest sessions.
