Meinl 06" Aluminum Cuica - Product Information
This Meinl Cuica made from light weight aluminum. The Cuica is a traditional Brazilian Instrument. It is played by one hand tugs on the internal bamboo shaft with a moist cloth which generates a tone. The other hand applies pressure to the head which changes pitch of the tone. Rhythmic patterns can be easily crated. It's a very familiar sound used countless times in music. Meinl used light weight and solid construction which will make this a perfect for street Samba instrument.
