Meinl Napa Surdo Heads

The Meinl Napa Surdo Head adds a new level of thump to your Surdos. Meinl Napa heads are two layers, mylar on the bottom and a soft Napa layer on top. The two layers are bonded together in the hoop. The thicker surface layer on the MEINL Napa head dampens and softens the attack, while eliminating any unwanted higher frequencies. They are easily switched with MEINL's traditional surdo heads for a very different sound, lending a kind of surging or swelling feeling to a groove.
