I have tried a number of tamborim sticks. This one is a great buy for the price (though it is not my favorite). If I was buying them for a whole group, these would be a good choice - bang for the buck. The price is hard to beat - smile.

This is not a tamborim stick, it is a cheap and bad imitation of the real thing. Playing pagode or samba de roda? Use a regular drumstick. Playing Samba Batucada? Get an actual tamborim wand. The meinl single wand is a better choice if you're actually playing carreteiro. This will break after 1 subida if you're playing actual samba
