The MEINL Repinique RE12AB-M is a traditional Brazilian instrument made from Rubber Wood. The Repinique is an integral part of samba music. It is similar to the marching tenor drum in non Brazilian music and is used as a solo instrument in the samba baterias. It is typically played with a stick in one hand and the palm of the other.
