If you are looking for clear and light glockenspiel mallets, these are the ones. Beautiful tone. Due to their size and weight, do not respond well at louder dynamics. They struggle above a mezzo forte level. Anything from that and below you will get a beautiful staccato sound still with plenty of tone. Despite the clarity and staccato attack, there is very little contact and no harshness. Would work great for Magic Flute, a couple of passages in La Mer, perhaps Glazunov Violin Concerto. No need to spend money all on all those pairs which say they are for specific repertoire!
