These are great all purpose mallets, especially for the price! They are light weight which is why they work so well for my younger middle school students as they are introduced to the stevens grip. That being said, they are light weight and are not able to produce a full body tone like some of my favorite mallets (malletech S09 and Michael Burritt series). But again, you are not paying the premium price of those other mallets which makes these a very good value!

I bought these mallets because i really didn't want to spend much. So I got 'em. They're definitely a really good buy and I recommend them, ya know. If you're gonna get them though, make sure you get two pairs for four mallets. They're pretty much my main mallets I use when i go to play. Just get 'em. Have it in the bag. Pun.
