Die Kegelduette by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, KV 487 (496a) - 12 duets arranged for Vibraphone and Marimba by Peter Klemke.
Mozart composed these 12 duets in 1786 for two horns (Basset Horn, an instrument in the clarinet family). Mozart gave the following information on the manuscript: "Wien, den 27t Julius 1786 unterm Kegelschieven".
They are dedicated to the director of the Botanic Garden at the University in Vienna at that time, Niklaus v. Jacquin.
