I've used this clamp a number of times in different applications. I purchased this one to use to attach to a cymbal arm to a mounted tom on a stand. It saved me money, reduces my footprint and lightens the amount of stands I need to carry. A great clamp at a great price, and you cannot beat Steve Weiss Music on customer service and shipping!

This clamp allows me to add a small tom to a cocktail kit of sorts that I have created. I attach this to a cymbal to mount the small tom. This is strong and sturdy.

I don't see what's wrong with it. It works just fine. It holds my cymbal boom arm securely, and clamps to my stand. Not sure what's missing from this. If you want to clamp a cymbal, tom, or a similar arm or stand top to another stand, get this.

As the title states, this clamp is not the best out there, but it does get the job done, and does it well.
