Cheung-Musical Moment No. 5: Romance-M - Product Information
Romance (Musical Moment No. 5) is the fifth of a set of five Musical Moments (for solo marimba) written during composer Pius Cheung's years studying at the Curtis Institute of Music. All five Musical Moments are based on the same four note motif.
Originally written for a string orchestra, the piece was later transcribed for solo marimba to be performed by the composer alone. Therefore when performing this piece, the player should always keep in mind long luscious legato lines.
