The Musser MUAV30M Vibraphone is part of the Ultimate Series. This line of instruments feature the classic Musser sound and build quality but mounted on a heavy duty cart designed to hold up to the most demanding of program schedules. A Variable Speed Motor operates quietly and efficiently. The frame is equipped with pneumatic strut height adjustment and a removable accessory rail. Another key feature of the Ultimate Field Frame is that it is Length adjustable to mount other instruments when needed.

Concerns out of the box.

Comments:

I work for a marching program and we bought this instrument thinking it would be like another instrument we have, (a Musser vibraphone mounted in a Majestic Quantum frame). This Musser frame had some problems when we put it together. The dampening bar was warped and a few notes in the middle did not dampen. In addition the pedal feels very flimsily attached to the frame. When it is pressed down there is a scary amount of flex (1/4 inch) that happens where it mounts to the frame. However the frame is very solid and doesn't seem to loosen as quickly as other field frames of other brands that I have worked with in the past.
