OffWorld Percussion BYOSphere Pad with Snare Puck and Black VML Surface - Product Information

The OffWorld BYOSphere is part of Aurora Series Practice Pad Series featuring a modular design allowing for three playing modes. To change the pad configuration an interchangeable puck is inserted into the center magnetic core. This version comes with the OffWorld Black VML playing surface and a gray version of the patented rims. The BYOSphere includes the adjustable Snare Puck and is compatible with other Aurora Series Inserts. The puck is easily removed for a natural OffWorld pad sound.

Offworld Byosphere Pad

The Offworld Byosphere pad is what you'd expect from Offworld. Great workmanship and great products. This pad is very articulate and so responsive. I will say that it is the loudest pad I own. (about 13 the last time I counted). The pad records well for You Tube videos which is what I use it for primarily. I don't use the pad to actually "practice" on because it is so loud. The rebound is great and like I said, if you're looking for a pad that projects well for making videos, this is your pad. As for Steve Weiss Music- great turn around time after ordering-only about 3-4 days tops. Can't beat that during these crazy times! Thanks Steve Weiss for great customer service and thanks Offworld Percussion for another great percussion product.

Hate the tambourines!

Love the pad, great marching snare feel and bounce, but, no matter how much I fiddle with those pesky tambourines, it does not give enough snare drum sound...my opinion. Still looks and sounds awesome for a pad! New SNL skit..."Can I get more SNARE!". LOL
