The Pearl Caixa (pronounced kai-sha) is the snare drum found in traditional Brazilian samba music. This wood shell snare drum features the Pearl SR-018 snare throw-off and key tuning. This drum is traditionally played with the included over the shoulder strap but can also be placed on a stand and used as a colorful auxiliary snare drum in a drum set.
