Comments:

For a beginner drumset it's decent, but you would be better off buying a legitimate drumset unless you are constantly on the move. In that case, it's for you, otherwise, look elsewhere for better quality.

Decent Street Gig / Mobile Practice Kit

Comments:

This kit is advertised as a "perfect solution for practice, small living spaces or small format gigs". Don't let that trick you into thinking it doesn't project. Despite a lack of shells, it makes a lot of noise, and as long as you're willing to put in the work to tune it right (low tuning isn't a great option with drums this small) you're set. Getting the angling of the mounting post can be somewhat tricky, but once you figure out what works for you, it's possible to lock it in place with a drum key, or leave it tightened with wing nuts for easy breakdown. It comes with Pearl branded single-ply coated heads, which I'd recommend swapping out for a thicker two-ply, especially if you're going outdoors and/or using it a lot. Speaking of that, if you play with a lead foot on the kick, you'll want to find something to weigh down the bass so it doesn't move all over the place (it's only supported on a very low profile "tripod"). The travel case is nice and everything fits well, but I had lots of issues with the straps, so I just replaced them with the ones from an old messenger bag.
