Pearl Concert Bass Drum Stand - Tilting with Casters - Product Information

Pearl's Tilting Concert Bass Drum Stand features locking casters and a footrest.

Pearl's CBS Series Concert Bass Drums Stands are an example of creative and logical design at its finest. The compact CBS stands gently cradle the bass drum hoops on three small rubber cushions. Because nothing touches the shell, the bass drum is allowed to resonate to its maximum potential. The CBS Series is adjustable to accommodate bass drums from 14" to 24" in depth. Bass drum angle is adjustable and for added playability, a foot rest has also been provided. The CBS-38C features locking wheels.

Incredible value

Comments:

This thing is GREAT. Breaks down small to travel, tilts really well, bottom heavy and not tippy with cymbal attachment. Casters are smooth, though they are small so watch it on bumps. The adjustability is crazy, I can't think of anything it wouldn't fit. I wish there was a way to do steep tilts on it and have the rim grabber still work. The bottom sliders can use snare base extenders, but the top doesn't quite do it right to be stable.

Excellent Product

Comments:

This is a wonderfully designed product. It can be adjusted to hold a wide range of bass drum sizes, has adjustable tilt and an excellent adjustable footrest. This stand can make even large diameter bass drums easier for adults and youngsters to play. It is designed to support the drum on the rims so there is no loss of shell resonance. It can't tilt a bass drum into a horizontal position, but it is much less expensive than a full suspension bass drum stand. I have used one in our local concert band for two years and 20 concerts. I also donated one to a local high school and they are very happy with it.
