I purchased this to use with my Pearl Marching snare, but have found that I use a lot on my stage drums, It feels to me at least, I have great control over very small adjustments with the larger size, a great value, and perfect for the High Tension Marching drums.

I can't compare this to other high tension drum keys, but it works perfectly for me. It doesn't slip off while turning, and the long handles provide good leverage.
