This addition to the Pearl Masters Series features a combination of Maple and Gum wood in the 6 ply shells. This delivers tone that is rich in mid range warmth and extended low end range. The 60 degree bearing edges, Mastercast hoops and CL bridge lugs add focus and articulation to the deep sound. The Pearl craftsmen have stated that these shells produce the same sonic perfection that the Masterworks series offers the only difference is the finish and customization Masterworks offers.
