The Pearl PB-700 Single Braced Bongo Stand is a lightweight full size. The lightweight single braced stand features a sturdy design which is perfect for the gigging musician. A U shaped bracket slides over the top post on the stand and the bracket is tightened to secure the bongos. The sliding tilter offers over 55 degrees of range to properly position your bongos.

A Bit Annoying to Mount

Attaching the bongos to the stand is more complex than it needs to be. LP got it right on this one. Otherwise, it's a nice stand with a good amount of weight to it.

Pearl Bongo Stand

A reasonable price, a reasonable stand. But this is for bongos, and my bongos are a bit heavy. (lucky me!) If you hit the bongos forcefully (and who doesn't from time to time), you can cause self-lowering bongos. I had to solve this problem by getting a memory lock for the shaft. It does not seem to be possible to tighten the screw on the shaft enough to fix the problem - you'd probably strip the threads.
