Pearl Philharmonic Concert Snare Drum - Pancake 13x2.5 - Product Information
The Pearl Philharmonic PHP-1325 Snare Drum is sometimes referred to as a pancake snare. This drum is made from 100% ply maple. To meet the demands of an ever busy audition circuit Pearl has produced a drum that delivers maximum sensitivity and response allowing performers to deliver the quietest of passages with clear and clean articulation.
The compact shell features a single point lug system. Special modifications are made to the snare mechanism to allow for the adjustability of the Pearl Philharmonic Triad Strainer while still allowing the snare wires to be positioned properly against the bottom head. Special light gauge music wires have been created for this model to be used with the graduated tensioning system.- 100% Ply Maple Shell
