Very happy with this purchase- the drum has a great tight sound-and is a bit smaller than my previous snare which is actually allowed me to move in a bit closer which has helped. The only thing I have not quite figured out yet is it does have a little bit more vibration when struck- but that could be me not quite tuning it correctly or maybe the snare basket isnt tight enough. But the drum is well worth the price tag.
