The Pearl Session Studio Select Drum Set Shell Pack captures the harmonically vibrant history of Pearl's Session Series. The key to this sound is in the shell material. The EvenPly Six 5.4mm Birch and Mahogany combination with, which means 4-ply Birch outer and softer imported tonewood 2-ply African Mahogany inner plys. A 60 degree bearing edge delivers a controlled punch. Recessed bass drum claws, superhoop II's and Pearl's RL lugs all are designed to promote maximum shell resonance. A wide tuning range allows the Session Kits to function in most musical situations.
