Presonus SW5E 5-Port Audio Video Bridging Switch with PoE - Product Information
The Presonus SW5E AVB fully adheres to the AVB standard. It offers Power over Ethernet (PoE) functionality, benefiting devices such as the PreSonus EarMix 16M. AVB (Audio Video Bridging) is an IEEE standard, facilitating high-quality, low-latency audio and video transmission over Ethernet networks, ensuring seamless and synchronized media streaming.
With its five locking Ethernet connections, the SW5E provides PoE for up to four network devices. An additional unpowered Link connection allows for easy expansion of your AVB network. The switch features Network Activity and Link indicators, providing visual confirmation of correct data flow
The SW5E is designed with durability in mind, offering a robust build quality to withstand the demands of live sound and touring environments. Its internal power supply eliminates the need for external adapters, reducing clutter and potential interference. Locking XLR Ethernet connections further enhance reliability, preventing accidental disconnections.
